Why is my overdraft being flagged in Monitor?

For those who have an arranged overdraft, you may see your overdraft flagged on Monitor in two ways:

• If you have upcoming bills that might not be covered by your account balance, you may see a ‘Predicted overdraft use’ flag

• If your account balance dips and goes into your overdraft, you may see a ‘Overdrawn’ flag

If your overdraft is flagged in Monitor, then your balance after bills figure will show as a minus to reflect this. Please note that your predicted overdraft usage and balance after bills may not be accurate if your income is not included on Monitor. You can find more information about that here.
