Your credit report and the credit insights in TotallyMoney show the “statement balance” found in the regular statements you get from your lender.

This is the final amount you owe at the end of a period, which is usually a month.

Your lenders give your statement balance to TransUnion (the credit reference agency we work with).

If you check your current balance with your lender more frequently it might be different. This could be because you've made a purchase, payment, or other transaction that changes your outstanding balance.
