Each month, we carry out two searches to provide you with your latest Credit Report and Borrowing Power.

These searches are ‘soft’ searches and have no impact on the way lenders view you. This is because lenders are unable to see these searches when assessing your application for credit.

We are aware that sometimes these searches may be communicated as a ‘Credit Card Quotation’, but please be assured that they are still soft searches and are as a result of us updating your Borrowing Power or Credit Report, and are not to do with any applications for credit. We do not control the way companies choose to display these searches to you but we are continuously working on helping to increase our customers understanding of these searches.
