At TotallyMoney, we want to support those experiencing financial abuse. Below, we have listed a variety of charities that can provide support and advice for victims of financial abuse:

Refuge

A charity that supports women and children that have been or are victims of domestic violence. Men’s Advice Line

National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse

A charity that supports LGBTQ+ people who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. Please visithttps://galop.org.uk/get-help/helplines/ or phone 0800 999 5428.

Surviving Economic Abuse

The only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse. Although they don’t provide direct support or advice, they have lots of useful information and direct victims to the help and services they require. StepChange

A non-profit debt charity. Although they are unable to provide financial advice, they can offer financial guidance to your situation. They can also help to take the pressure off the victims by contacting the creditors on their behalf, and provide you with debt solutions based on your specific circumstances.
