How will this affect my credit score?
Updated over a week ago

You won’t see any immediate effect on your TransUnion credit score. However, the more the data becomes more widely used, you could see some changes as TransUnion will be updating their credit scoring when it is needed.

It’s important to know that lenders may also be able to see the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) data on your report when you make an application with them. Some may also choose to take the data into consideration when deciding if your application with them will be approved or not.

Payment behaviour may be visible to lenders, so it could be considered when lenders are making decisions on your eligibility for their credit products. Good payment history can show the lender that you’re a reliable borrower. Payment behaviour won’t initially affect your credit score.
