If you’re seeing missed payments on your Score Analysis, it is usually because you previously defaulted on your original agreement with the lender. These missed payments highlighted in your credit report have no further impact on your score than what the default is already having.
Your Score Analysis will continue to flag the defaulted account as a missed payment each month until the account has been settled. We're not creating these missed payments in your credit report, the default is being reported every month by the lender, and we're simply flagging this in the credit report analysis.
If your lender has confirmed you did not default on the account, you can raise a dispute against the information and TransUnion can investigate this with your lender for you.
