Accounts absorbed by your bankruptcy will not be fully removed from your credit report until 6 years has passed from the date that they were closed. If you have been discharged from your bankruptcy, however, the accounts should appear as ‘Satisfied’ or ‘Partially Satisfied’ on your report.
In some instances, the bankruptcy service does not notify lenders that the debt has been repaid, and a completion/discharge certificate will need to be sent to the lender to ensure the account is 'Satisfied' on your credit report. You can request your certificate here: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can then raise the issue with TransUnion by clicking ‘raise a dispute’ against the appropriate section of your TotallyMoney credit report. It can take up to 28 days to hear back from TransUnion. This is the time they are required to give authorities, to investigate the issue.
