If there’s an incorrect CCJ on your report, the first thing you need to do is get in touch with the court that lists your CCJ. This is because TransUnion, the Credit Reference Agency we work with to create your credit report, can’t make changes to this data unless the court says so.
After you have spoken with the court, you can flag this with TransUnion by clicking ‘raise a dispute’ against the appropriate section of your TotallyMoney credit report. This lets them follow this up directly with the court for you.
It can take up to 28 days to hear back from TransUnion. This is the time they are required to give authorities, to investigate the issue.
