There could be various reasons why TransUnion or Experian have been unable to verify your identity at your current address.
Credit Reference Agencies act like data libraries, pulling in information from lenders and public bodies. If you have been unable to access your Credit Report or Borrowing Power it could be that your current address is not listed on any of these accounts. It could also be because the lenders or public bodies have not yet updated the Credit Reference Agencies with this information.
As lenders do not always provide information to all three Credit Reference Agencies, if you’ve only updated one lender this could explain why your information is different between the three Credit Reference Agencies. It is therefore worth updating your address with all lenders and ensuring that you are on the electoral register at your current address.
