We understand that being a victim of fraud can be distressing and there are organisations who can support you through this:

- You can contact Victim Support, an independent charity committed to helping victims of crime including fraud. you can call them on 08 08 16 89 111or their other methods of contact can be found here.

- Reporting your experience to Action Fraud will also mean a report is built and sent to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB). This can lead to police forces being sent out to investigate if a pattern of fraud is spotted in a particular area.

- You may also wish to register with CIFAS. This adds an additional layer of security to any applications made in your name as CIFAS member organisations are required to carry out additional verification checks before making their decision.
