Why is my information not up to date?

Edited

The information in your credit report is only updated when lenders, banks, utility providers, public bodies, and data providers submit new data. This typically happens every 4-6 weeks, and each provider has its own update schedule and reporting timelines.

Because of this, there can often be a delay or lag between when a change occurs and when it appears on your credit report.

If something doesn’t look quite right, it may simply be that the provider has not yet sent their latest update to TransUnion.

If you wish to dispute something on your report, you can do so in the Overview section of the TotallyMoney app or website, next to the relevant entry. We'll pass this information on to TransUnion. They'll confirm they've received it and then get back to you within 28 days.

Alternatively, you could raise a dispute on TransUnion’s website. You’ll need to create an account with them first, if you don’t already have one.
